Our Privacy Policy
HealthSAVE Inc. collects personal data during the application and claim process in order to properly meet Canada Revenue Agency guidelines and to properly adjudicate the claims process. All original receipts and customer documentation is stored securely at our offices. Online secure access may be provided for the issuance of annual taxation receipts. All employees, including data process agents, are required to respect the confidentiality of personal data. Our privacy policy is in accordance with the rules set forth by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act - Canada.
During the claim process, the employee authorizes release of payment information to Canada Revenue Agency and Employer's Administrator. Personal information may also be used internally by HealthSAVE Inc. for statistical, marketing, or administration reasons. Personal information is therefore waived under the Privacy Act of Canada but is otherwise held in strict confidence by HealthSAVE Inc. We do not collect information from other sources, or share your information with any other source.
The employee may waive privacy authorization with employer by submitting receipts to HealthSAVE Inc. in a self enclosed envelope and in confidence. In this event, only the total claim amounts must be provided to the employer. All documents need be submitted at the same time.
